CLEARFIELD – A one-vehicle accident near Goldenrod was the result of a medical condition, according to Lawrence Township Police.
Thomas Sutton of Morrisdale was was traveling west on state Route 322 when he lost control of his vehicle due to a medical condition. The vehicle traveled off of the berm on the westbound lane where it struck an embankment. The vehicle then traveled across the eastbound lane where it came to a stop.
Police report the vehicle then accelerated and traveled down through a field and into a wooded area where it came to rest facing south. Sutton was transported to Clearfield Hospital by Clearfield Emergency Management Services for evaluation. No update on Sutton’s status was available at the time of this writing.
