WOODLAND – The Bradford Township Supervisors took a step toward obtaining a loan to help bring water to residents in Shiloh at their meeting on Tuesday night.
The supervisors approved spending $8,000 to get the study and reporting phase done on a project to get a waterline extension to 55-60 homes in Shiloh. According to chairman supervisor Charles Read, this is the first step in working toward a Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority grant to help with the project.
“We’re working our butts off trying to get water for people in Shiloh,” said Read.
The project will cost around $1.5-$1.7 million to complete
“The goal now is to get these people water,” said William Graham, Bradford Township supervisor.
