Man Arrested for 600 Counts of Child Pornography

DUBOIS – A former DuBois man is in Clearfield County Jail for allegedly possessing various forms of child pornography.

Joshua Kordish, 20, formerly of DuBois and most recently of Reynoldsville, was arrested Friday, according to DuBois City Police. Officers secured an arrest warrant, and it was served shortly after 9 p.m. Friday by Reynoldsville Borough Police. He was then remanded to DuBois City Police.

Kordish was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland for 600 counts of sexual abuse of children, a felony charge.

Police said Kordish was found to be in possession of images that were “very sexually explicit and degrading to children.” Those images included some from a computer, video tapes, compact discs and photographs. Kordish also had a tape of himself that was made while he viewed the images, police report.

Kordish is being held in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

DuBois City Police were aided by state police at Punxsutawney in processing computer images.
