CLEARFIELD – The Mountain Laurel Kennel Club invites area students to show love and pride in their pets through pictures and words in the My Best Friend contest that will be featured at the club’s annual Pet Expo Oct. 14 at the Clearfield Driving Park.
Participants may draw a picture, take a photo or write an essay of no more than 500 words about their pets. Entries must be mailed by Oct. 1 to Geremy Kephart, 105 Hummingbird Lane, Morrisdale, PA 16858. Name, age, address, phone number and e-mail must be listed on the back of each entry.
All will be displayed at the Pet Expo, which is slated for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Expo II. Prizes will be awarded in various age groups, from pre-school through high school.
