Woman Pleads Guilty to Drug Possession Charges

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield woman pleaded guilty to a drug possession charge before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rudella on Wednesday.

Jennifer Adamson 19, will have to pay a $50 fine, the cost of court, and was placed on one year of probation.

The affidavit of probable cause stated that Adamson was working at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Clearfield when she was video taped taking Oxycodone between July 19 and July 25. In all, Adamson admitted to taking 111 tablets, valued at $485.35.

When interviewed by narcotics agent Sherri Cramer of the Office of the Attorney General, Adamson confessed to taking the drugs on two occasions when she was working by herself as a cashier at the pharmacy.
