CLEARFIELD – What could be better than ice cream and dixieland music?
The Clearfield Concert in the Park series continues Sunday in Lower Witmer Park with The Deacons of Dixieland with Penn State President Graham Spanier.
The band will perform a variety of hymns, waltzes, the Blues, polkas, and even a few Country tunes — all in the happy Dixieland style.
The event also includes an ice cream social, which begins at 6:30 p.m. A $1 donation is being requested for each sundae. The concert then begins at 7 p.m.
Concert attendees should bring their lawn chairs for the event, sponsored by County National Bank.
In case of rain, the concert will be canceled and rescheduled if possible.
