Lock Haven earns first approval to construct new building

CLEARFIELD – Lock Haven University’s Clearfield campus is ready to grow, and the first “brick” was laid this week to get the campus on its way.

Lawrence Township Supervisors gave preliminary approval for LHU to build a new medical education building on the campus.

Further details could not be provided by LHU as the building is still in the earliest stages of planning.

With the approval, the university will be able to submit more detailed plans to the Clearfield County Planning Commission in the future.
