Allentown, PA — Five local powerlifters will be representing the Downtown Weightlifting Club at the Anti-Drug Athletes United (ADAU) 3-lift National Powerlifting Championships on Saturday and Sunday near Allentown, PA. The team will be led by veteran Al Siegel, competing for the first time in the 242 pound masters (65-69) age group. Al will be looking for his 20th Masters (over 40) National Title. Other Clearfielders competing will be teenagers Matt Kyler, Chris Bloom, Adrianne Zimmerman, and Samantha Snyder. The former three teens already own National titles in the ADAU, while \”Sam\” will be making her first attempt at national level lifting. Results of the competition will be found here on Monday.
