HARRISBURG, June 15 – State Rep. Camille “Bud” George, D-74 of Houtzdale, Thursday said that two sewage grants totaling more than $60,000 have been awarded in Clearfield County.
The grants, administered by the state Department of Environmental Protection through the Sewage Facilities Enforcement Grants Program, are:
● $31,428 to reimburse Karthaus Township for half the costs of preparing and revising sewage and sewage system plans.
● $28,691 to reimburse the Clearfield County Sewage Committee for half the costs of enforcing sewage regulations.
