Three burglaries investigated

State police at the Clearfield barracks are investigating three burglaries that happened between April and Sunday.

Police have not said that the trio of incidents were related.

The incidents happened in Ramey Borough, Boggs Township and Knox Township.

The first of the three happened April 12 at the home of a 44-year-old West Decatur woman. Someone entered a side door to an unlocked building, removing fireworks, a case and a half of beer and 12 baseball caps. The total loss in West Decatur is estimated at $610.

The next incident happened sometime between May 14 and Monday when someone entered a shed at the home of a 62-year-old Olanta woman. An air compressor valued at $600 was reportedly taken.

In the final burglary, someone entered a home belonging to a 36-year-old Ramey woman. Stolen from the home were two diamond rings, a tennis bracelet, $150 in cash and 30 OxyContin tablets. The total value of the stolen items was $1,968.
