Touch a Truck

Free family fun, community event to be held at Irvin Park, Curwensville, July 27th, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Families should come to pavilion #1 (beside the stage) to register for free tickets for a chance to win any of the donated prizes, grab a drink and a snack, visit the activity tables and other sponsors before heading to the truck staging area. The event is hosted by The Guidance Center Parents as Teachers Program.

A variety of fire trucks, ambulance, swift water rescue, Asphalt and road repair, PSP, Penn DOT, excavators, skid steers, and more will be in attendance.

The Guidance Center Parents as Teachers Program is a free home visiting program that focuses on the early childhood development and kindergarten readiness of children ages prenatal to the start of their kindergarten career. There are no eligibility requirements other than to live in a county that we serve, which are Clearfield, Jefferson, Elk, Potter, Cameron, and McKean. Visits are designed around the developmental needs of each child as well as the well-being of the family.
