One Nation Under God Celebration

Mt. Joy United Methodist Church in Clearfield, PA (go to the end of Mt. Joy Road), will be celebrating our Nation’s 250 years with a “One Nation Under God” event.

Will be held outside near the gazebo (bring a lawn chair or blanket) ~ Will be held indoors in the event of rain.
4:00 – Welcome & Pledge of Allegiance led by Pastor Clare.
For Kids: There will be a foam slide near the side of the Fellowship Hall (so bring a towel or change of clothes!). Kids games (with prizes) will be on the far field, including a relay race, a water balloon toss, and 4 corners. Kids can also be artistic and decorate our sidewalks with chalk. At 4:45, kids can make a “Love Furry” inside the hall.
For Adults: A word game will start after the opening; Bingo (with various prizes) will be held inside the Hall at 4:30.
5:00 – EAT! Hot dogs, drinks and place settings will be provided ~ please bring a covered dish or a dessert to share. Some tables will be set up inside the Hall, or you can eat outside, weather permitting.
6:00 – ? Our special guests, The Calvary Boys, will perform. A free-will offering will be accepted.
