JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating three unrelated incidents in Jefferson County, including an unauthorized credit card theft, a residential burglary, and an assault.
Unauthorized Credit Card Use Under Investigation
Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois are investigating the unauthorized use of a Way2Go card in Washington Township.
According to police, the incident was reported at 8:50 p.m. on July 29 at a residence along Sandstone Drive. The victim, a 29-year-old Falls Creek woman, reported that an unauthorized user made $491.41 in purchases using her Way2Go card.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Trail Cameras Stolen During Snyder Township Burglary
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary reported along Granville Road in Snyder Township.
According to police, the victim, a 51-year-old Brockway man, reported that three trail cameras were stolen from the property. The missing items include a Muddy Mitigator 2.0 trail camera valued at $65, an Izeeker IG200 trail camera valued at $65, and an unknown make/model trail camera also valued at $65.
The burglary was reported at 7:54 p.m. on July 28. The investigation is ongoing.
State Police Investigating Assault in Warsaw Township
Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois are also investigating an assault reported in Warsaw Township.
According to police, troopers responded at 11:43 p.m. on July 4 to an incident along Greenawalt Road involving a 42-year-old Brookville man.
Police classified the incident as simple assault. No additional information was released.
