He also served the community through his memberships with the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17, the James J. Patterson Post 813 VFW, and the Sandy Hose Company # 1 Fireman’s Club.
Full military honors were accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard during his funeral service at Baronick Funeral Home.
He was laid to rest in the Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
