FRYBURG, Pa. (EYT) — Registration is currently open for the 2026 Grand Slam 5K Fun Run/Walk. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Clarion Forest Little League.
League Impact
The Clarion Forest Little League serves children ages four to 16. In 2025, the league mentored 17 teams, a number expected to remain consistent for the 2026 season. As a volunteer-powered organization, the league relies on community support to maintain fields, organize seasonal operations, and provide equipment for its players.
Event Details and Route
The 5K Fun Run/Walk will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. in front of St. Michael’s Church on Route 208.
The 5K course begins at St. Michael’s Church on Route 208 and travels south into Marble, where racers will turn around behind Montana’s Country Cafe. The route then returns through Fryburg and turns onto Old Fryburg Road, passing the local car wash. After a final turnaround at the end of Old Fryburg Road, participants return to the finish line located at the entrance to the St. Michael’s Church parking lot.
Two water stations, supplied by Asura Health Care, will be available at the turnaround points. Professional timing services will be provided by Smiley Miles.

Categories and Awards
Medals will be awarded to the first, second, and third-place overall male and female finishers. In addition to the overall winners, awards will be presented to the top three finishers in several age categories, including Under 12, 13–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and up.
Past overall winners include Prince Brooks and Abby Hastings (2025) and Quintin Weaver and Tifany Berry (2024).
How to Participate or Donate
Participants may register online via the official Run Sign Up page. Results will be posted following the race at www.smileymiles.com.
For those wishing to donate directly to the league, checks can be made payable to MCA with “Clarion Forest Little League” in the memo line.
