STEELTON — Braison Patrick from Clearfield Area High School and Maddox Bennett from DuBois Area High School were selected to play in the first ever Mr. and Miss PA Basketball All-Star Hoops Classic on April 25, 2026.
The statewide all-star games were held at the Steelton-Highspire Jr./Sr. High School, just outside of Harrisburg. Only 24 boys and 24 girls were selected from the entire state to participate in the classic. One game was played for the boys and one for the girls. Â Â
The participants were selected by media groups across the state of Pennsylvania. Patrick and Maddox competed on the west team. Both boys stated that it was a great honor to be selected to participate in the all-star game.
Both Patrick and Bennett became the all-time points leaders at their respective schools this past season.
Patrick has committed to attend and play basketball at Lake Erie College in Paynesville, OH and Bennett has committed to attend and play basketball at West Liberty University in West Virginia, both Division 2 schools.
The committee plans to make this an annual event for many years to come. Â Â
