BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — There’s a delicious new aroma heading to Brookville.
The López family—longtime owners of the beloved Cozumel Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Clarion—is bringing their signature blend of warmth, flavor, and fiesta energy to town with the opening of Cozumel Mexican Restaurant & Cantina Dos. And if early buzz is any indication, Brookville is more than ready for it.
For nearly 20 years, Cozumel has been the kind of place where the salsa is always fresh, the margaritas always cold, and the staff somehow remembers your favorite order.
Now, the López family is packing up that same spirit and planting it right in the heart of Brookville.
Inside the new location, bright colors pop from every corner—sun‑washed oranges, ocean blues, and hand‑painted décor that feels like a postcard from the Yucatán. The kitchen hums with the familiar rhythm of sizzling fajitas, bubbling queso, and tortillas warming on the grill. It’s the kind of atmosphere that invites you to stay a little longer than you planned.
“We’ve always believed that food tastes better when people feel at home,” the family has often said, and that philosophy seems to be woven into every detail of the new restaurant.
Brookville has been steadily growing its dining scene, and Cozumel Dos adds a lively new flavor to the mix. Locals have been peeking through the windows for weeks, eager for opening day, and the López family says they’re excited to meet their new neighbors—one plate of enchiladas at a time.
With its doors opening soon, Cozumel Dos–located at 325 West Main Street in Brookville–isn’t just another restaurant. It’s a celebration of community, culture, and the simple joy of sharing a good meal with the people around you.
