Pennsylvania State Police have released details on three recent incidents in Jefferson County, including one disorderly conduct case and two DUI arrests.

According to PSP Punxsutawney, a 24-year-old man from Punxsutawney was cited for disorderly conduct following an incident February 12 on Route 36 in Bell Township. Police said they responded at approximately 10:31 p.m. for a report of a male creating a disturbance. Upon arrival, troopers determined the male was intoxicated and causing a disturbance within a residential neighborhood. A non-traffic citation was filed through Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline Mizerock’s office.

In a separate incident, a 54-year-old Corsica woman was arrested February 14 at approximately 12:45 p.m. on East Penn Street in Summerville Borough. According to police, the woman was stopped after committing a summary traffic violation and was determined to be driving under the influence. Charges are pending.

Later that evening, at approximately 6:54 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on Torrence Street in Punxsutawney Borough. Police said the 62-year-old Punxsutawney man was stopped for a summary traffic violation, and further investigation revealed he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending toxicology results.
