NORTH MAHONING TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Pennsylvania State Police at Punxsutawney are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred along Miller Road in North Mahoning Township, and are looking for anyone with information that may help them identify the vehicle or driver.
According to state police, the crash happened as an unknown vehicle was traveling along Miller Road, north of Route 210. Police say the vehicle struck a wooden fence post before fleeing the scene.
Police say the crash occurred sometime between 8:00 p.m. on February 2 and 6:00 a.m. on February 3. No vehicle description or driver information was immediately available, and the identity of the driver remains unknown. It is also unknown if the driver was injured.
Police reported there was to damage unattended property as a result of the crash.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at the Punxsutawney Barracks.
