The Best in Amateur Boxing Return to DuBois, PA This March

DUBOIS — The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League (WPAL) and TEAM 814 are proud to announce the return of live amateur boxing to the DuBois Country Club with this year’s highly anticipated event, Mayhem in March.

This year’s card will showcase standout local prospects from TEAM 814 who train at the WPAL Fitness Center on East Long Avenue. Fans will have the opportunity to cheer on hometown athletes Luca Smith, Phoenix Egolf, and Nathan Pineda of DuBois, along with Gavin Rigdon of Clearfield, as they step into the ring representing their communities.

In addition to local talent, the event will feature rising amateur boxers from across the Northeastern United States, with competitors traveling in from Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan, Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio.

The event will take place Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the DuBois Country Club, located at 10 Lakeside Avenue, DuBois, PA. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the first bout scheduled for 7:00 PM.

WPAL Executive Director Aaron Beatty shared:

“This event is about more than just fights—it’s about opportunity. After a long road to get here, we’re excited to once again host an event that supports our mission of helping youth grow through discipline, sport, and competition.”

Proceeds from the event benefit TEAM 814, which trains out of the WPAL DuBois Fitness Center. TEAM 814 and the Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League are both 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations dedicated to empowering youth through sport and mentorship in the DuBois area.
