CLEARFIELD- The CCAAA, AARP, and the IRS have partnered together for 43 years to offer the Tax Aide Program to do Clearfield County Seniors taxes at no cost.
Tax Aide will be starting on February 3, 2026, by appointments on Monday and Tuesday through April 13 at the Curwensville Alliance Church in Curwensville. If the schools are closed for a Holiday or bad weather Tax Aide will be closed that day.
To register for the Curwensville Tax Aide Site, once you have all your tax documents ready, please call the Hot Line at 814-765-2691 follow the directions.
Please leave your name, both names if filing jointly, your cell phone and home phone numbers, the day you prefer- Monday or Tuesday. (This process can take a few hours. If you cannot stay that long make your appointment later in the season when it is not so busy.)
The person registering to get their taxes done Must be present at the appointment. You cannot bring another person’s taxes. To get your taxes done you must be seen by a tax prepare and remain for a Quality Review. You must have an appointment.
· Each person must have their driver’s license or photo ID and Social Security card for everyone on your tax return, or you will be turned away.
· Please call the office at 814-765-2696 to reschedule if you need to cancel or reschedule If you have symptoms of illness (cold, sore throat, fever or cough.) please reschedule.
Please do not leave your name more than once on the Hot Line. Due to the volume of calls it takes our volunteers a while to get back to you.
The Tax Aide Team will also be traveling to threes Senior Centers a day to do appointment’s
March 4 -Kylertown Center for Active Living
March 11 – Dubois Center for Active Living
March 18 – Coalport Center for Active Living
As in the past call the Center directly to schedule an appointment there. If one of the center dates is cancelled due to weather, make up day will be March 25.
