CURWENSVILLE — Juniata Valley raced out to a 25-5 lead after one quarter Thursday evening at Patton Hall on the way to a 73-40 victory over Curwensville.
The Hornets, who led 50-16 at the half, put four players in double figures, led by Ethan Scalia’s 21.
Evan McCartney paced the Golden Tide with 19. Owen Dimmick added 11.
Curwensville slipped to 2-11 overall and 1-4 in the Inter County Conference.
The Golden Tide and Green Hornets meet again on Monday, Jan. 19 at Juniata Valley, which is 11-3 on the season.
