WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving two vehicles along Interstate 80 in Jefferson County.
The crash occurred on January 3 at approximately 5:29 p.m., on Interstate 80 eastbound near mile marker 95 in Washington Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois.
Troopers said a 2003 GMC Yukon, operated by Amanda L. Horton, 45, of Madera, was traveling eastbound in the left lane and was sideswiped by another vehicle. According to the crash report, the unknown vehicle moved from the right lane into the left lane and hit Horton’s vehicle.
Police reported that the second vehicle, believed to be a commercial motor vehicle, continued eastbound and left the scene.
Horton’s vehicle sustained functional damage to the front passenger side and was driven from the scene following the crash, police said.
Authorities noted that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Horton was unable to provide a description other than that the vehicle was a commercial vehicle, according to police.
