Pennsylvania State Police responded to multiple incidents across Jefferson and Clearfield counties over the past several days, according to public information release reports.
On November 8 at approximately 9:40 a.m., PSP DuBois were called to a residence along Route 310 in Winslow Township, Jefferson County, for a reported verbal altercation. Following an investigation, troopers determined that physical contact had occurred between the individuals involved. The report lists a 54-year-old Reynoldsville woman, a 23-year-old DuBois woman, and a 23-year-old Reynoldsville man as arrestees in the report.
State police were also called to Brockway Borough, Jefferson County, on December 13 at approximately 5:20 a.m. for a hit-and-run crash on James Street, just south of Penn Avenue. According to PSP, a vehicle struck multiple road signs and damaged a utility pole before leaving the scene. The vehicle is believed to be a white box truck or tractor-trailer with heavy front-end damage. Brockway Volunteer Fire Department, Penelec, and Windstream assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
In a separate incident, PSP Clearfield responded to a fatal crash on December 9 at approximately 7:32 a.m. along Henrys Road in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County. Police reported that a 16-year-old boy from Irvona was pronounced deceased at the scene. The incident involved a 2016 black camouflage E-Z-GO utility vehicle, and is being investigated as a homicide by vehicle under Title 75. State police said the investigation is continuing.
