WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Reynoldsville man was cited following a single-vehicle crash Friday night on Cherry Drive in Washington Township, Jefferson County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers from PSP DuBois said the crash occurred around 7:32 p.m. on December 12 along Cherry Drive, just east of Scott Road.
Police said a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling south when the driver, Gage L. Valentin, 20, of Reynoldsville, failed to stay in his lane and slid off the left side of the road.
The vehicle then struck a utility pole, causing disabling damage to the truck and damage to the pole, which police said required maintenance.
The pickup came to rest facing northeast about 10 feet off the left side of the road.
Valentin was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash, police noted.
The vehicle towed from the scene by Mottman Towing.
State police said Valentin was cited with a traffic lane violation.
PSP DuBois was assisted on scene by Brookville Fire Department and Brookville EMS.
