DUBOIS- December 21 is the longest night of the year – and it can feel even longer for people who are experiencing feelings of grief, loneliness or hurt. Penn Highlands Healthcare at Home is hosting a Blue Christmas Service on Sunday, December 21 from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. at First United Presbyterian Church in DuBois, PA.
“This interfaith service is planned to help everyone feel that they are not alone during this festive time of year,” explained Mary Lou Wehler, Bereavement/Volunteer Coordinator for Penn Highlands Healthcare at Home. “The holidays can be sad for people who have lost love ones and this service can help bring them comfort and hope.”
Children are encouraged to attend. Fellowship and refreshments will follow the service.
The church is located at 43 West Scribner Avenue in DuBois.
