Gas prices are eight cents lower in Western Pennsylvania this week at $3.300 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
Nationwide Trends:
As the holiday season begins, the national average has fallen to $3.00 per gallon for the first time since May of 2021. Prior to May of 2021, the last time the national average was $3.00 was October of 2014. At the close of Wednesday’s formal trading session, West Texas Intermediate fell $.60 to settle at $58.65 a barrel.
The national average per kilowatt hour of electricity at a public EV charging station stayed the same this past week at 38 cents.
