CLEARFIELD-The Moshannon Valley Quilters is a local organization founded in 2019 by Sharon Goss. The MVQ are a group of 12 people who piece tops then sandwich them with batting and backing and quilt them on the final stage before awarding to a deserving service person or veteran.
They do this to honor our veterans for their service; they know that freedom isn’t free and they wish to offer comfort and healing and to let them know they are always in our thoughts and hearts.
In 2025 the organization presented 60 quilts.
