DUBOIS, Pa. (EYT) — Authorities are searching for a Jefferson County Jail inmate who walked away from his work release program in DuBois on Friday morning.
State police said the inmate, John Moon, 58, is believed to still be in the DuBois area.
Jefferson County Jail Warden Dustin Myers said Moon was under probation supervision, not the jail’s, when he left the program.
Authorities have not released details on why Moon was incarcerated or whether he is considered dangerous.
Police ask anyone who has seen Moon or knows his whereabouts to call 9-1-1.
