Maines wins as Judge of the Court of Common Pleas
CLEARFIELD – During Tuesday’s municipal election, the major race was for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, filling the spot for retiring current President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman who was elected in 1994.
Republican District Attorney Ryan P. Sayers was defeated by attorney and Democratic challenger, Josh Maines, who will serve a 10 year term.
According to the Clearfield County Election Central Web site, the county has 49,506 total registered voters. Total voter turnout was 44.82 percent.
