DUBOIS- Penn Highlands Healthcare invites members of the community to attend an Open House to see its new Surgical Cancer Niche on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, in the Penn Highlands General Surgery Suite located in Suite 215 in the Medical Arts Building in DuBois. The Medical Arts Building is located at 145 Hospital Avenue.
The Surgical Cancer Niche is a quiet library where cancer patients and staff can obtain educational information.
During the Open House, visitors can learn about:
- ?Breast cancer screening exams
- Lymphedema management
- Genetics testing
- Breast prosthesis
- Wig styling and care
- Cold capping
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery
Visitors will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages and can participate in basket raffles.
