JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) — State and local police have released details from several recent investigations across Jefferson, Clearfield, and Indiana Counties, including harassment and disorderly conduct cases, reckless endangerment, and a public intoxication report.
According to the Brookville Borough Police Department, officers were dispatched to a property dispute between two women in Brookville Borough between September 24 and October 11. Both parties were initially warned for disorderly conduct and harassment. Police say one of the individuals later continued contacting the other, leading to charges of harassment and disorderly conduct.
In a separate Brookville case, police responded to a call on October 15 for a medical assist and determined that the individual involved had been under the influence of alcohol in a public area. Charges for public intoxication were filed.
Meanwhile, troopers from PSP Punxsutawney investigated a harassment communication case that occurred on October 19 along Patchin Highway in Burnside Township, Clearfield County. Police say an individual was charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct after refusing to leave a property and striking a doorbell camera before departing.
Troopers from PSP Punxsutawney also continue to investigate a reckless endangerment incident that occurred around 6:30 p.m. on October 18 near Miller Road in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County. Police report that the case remains under investigation and involved multiple juveniles as victims.
