BURNSIDE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Punxsutawney say a crash occurred around 1:04 a.m. on September 24 along Byers Road in Burnside Township, Clearfield County.
According to police, 37-year-old Nathan A. Loring, of Houtzdale, was traveling south on Byers Road in a 2012 Toyota Yaris when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. The car struck an embankment at its front end and came to rest nearby.
Police say Loring was using a seat belt and was not injured.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Warners Tow Company.
Loring was charged with a traffic violation for failing to drive at a safe speed, police say.
