Written by Charles Dickens and adapted by Charles Ludlam, this ridiculous but surprisingly faithful rendition of the classic holiday tale is suitable for the entire family. Make CAST part of your holiday season as this timeless story of redemption and goodwill comes to life on stage.
Ebenezer Scrooge is haunted by the ghosts of his late partner, Jacob Marley, Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and the Spirit of Christmas Yet to Come. Faced with his own mortality and the consequences of his miserly ways, Scrooge is transformed into a man of compassion and generosity, bringing warmth and joy to those around him. Ludlam’s adaptation balances humor and heart, creating a uniquely entertaining take on this Victorian favorite.
A Christmas Carol is directed by Lew Duttry and sponsored by CNB Bank, Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub, and Penn Highlands Healthcare.
