Shirley A. Magagnotti, 90, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville.

Born on March 9, 1935, in Struthers, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ray C. and Catherine C. (Boddorf) Wolfgang.

She was married in 1959, to Rudolph P. “Rudy” Magagnotti and he preceded her in death in 1999.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Diane (Terry) Shaffer of New Bethlehem and Hope (Earl “Butch”) Meyers of Fairmount City and a good friend, Sandy (Buck) Troup of New Bethlehem.

Shirley attended the Fairmount City United Methodist.

She worked for Sylvania for many years.

She also owned and operated Rudi-Ann Variety in New Bethlehem with her husband.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Betty Bish, Geraldine Bish, Florence Schreckengost, and Velma Dinger, and two brothers, Howard Wolfgang and John Wolfgang.

At Shirley’s request, there will be no services.

Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mahoning Township, Armstrong County.

The Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn is handling the arrangements.
