CLEARFIELD- This year marks the 24th Annual King of the Mountain Bike Race, and the second year without the founder and leader, John Farr.
The event will be held on Sunday, October 5. Registration opens at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds, Expo 1. The race will begin at the base of Rockton Mountain on Route 322 at noon to the finish line at the summit.
The race is open to all cyclists 12 or older.
Advance registration is $25 HERE. Day of event registration is $30. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers.
All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Clearfield County—helping local families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through housing.
KOM organizers invite all riders, whether longtime KOM veterans or first-time participants, to join in celebrating John’s spirit. Together, let’s make this race a powerful tribute to everything he stood for: perseverance, community, and the joy of conquering the climb.
