HYDE — The Lady Tigers of Hollidaysburg rolled into the Bison Gym Monday night and then left with a 3-0 sweep over the homestanding Lady Bison, only the second time all year Clearfield has been swept, the first one was against Richland back on September 2.
The now 7-5 Lady Bison were defeated by the scores of 17-25, 21-25, and again 17-25.
Lady Bison head coach Sandy Bailor was satisfied with the effort, commenting, “We played a good volleyball team tonight, but I was pleased with the way the girls competed.”
Leading the Lady Bison in kills was Sonny Diehl with 13. Natalie Rowles led in service points with seven and Ellie McBride led with 14 assists.
The Lady Bison have no time to prepare for their next match, as they face Bishop McCort on the road on Tuesday evening.
