CLEARFIELD – A Philipsburg woman will stand trial for selling drugs to a confidential informant twice.
Katelin Marie Shaw, 33, was charged by state police with two felony counts each of manufacture/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of communication facility. She waived her right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday during centralized court. She is free on $50,000, unsecured bail.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on July 2, the informant contacted Shaw to arrange a purchase of methamphetamine for $150. They met in the parking lot of a business in Chester Hill where the exchange occurred.
On July 10, an informant contacted Shaw regarding another drug purchase. Again they met at the business in Chester Hill. The informant bought Fentanyl and methamphetamine for $170 from Shaw, police said.
All substances were sent to the crime lab for testing. The suspected methamphetamine in the first transaction weighed 1.34 grams and in the second was 0.31 grams with 0.11 grams of Fentanyl, according to the report.
