CLEARFIELD- Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre, Inc. (CAST) held its annual membership meeting on September 9 in the CAST Auditorium and via Facebook livestream.
During the meeting, members elected individuals to fill four vacant seats on the Board of Directors. Elected were:
- Jen Grenus (re-elected after completing her first term)
- Lisa Tubbs Boyle
- Brandy Hale Dixon
- Noah Webb
Following the elections, the board reorganized. Officers are:
- Matt Hertlein, President
- Autumn Burke-Dempsey, Vice President
- Danielle Rishell, Secretary
- Wendy Cline, Treasurer
Other board members are Brandi Billotte, Jennifer Bush, Lealand Condon, Dawn Deppe, Leann Garito, Robert Roxby, and Chris Shaffer.
CAST staff members are: Gayle Gearhart, Artistic Director; Lisa Gormont, Office Manager; and Mason Strouse, Executive Director.
In addition to board elections, membership received updates about current programming in 2025, including performances, building improvements, and financial data.
Looking ahead, the 2026 season was officially announced, with the exciting addition of a Sunday matinee option. Productions include:
- Newsies Jr. – February 6–7 & 12–14 at 7:30 p.m.; February 8 at 3 p.m.
- The Grapes of Wrath – April 17–18 & 23–25 at 7:30 p.m.; April 19 at 3 p.m.
- Sunset Boulevard – June 19–20 & 25–27 at 7:30 p.m.; June 21 at 3 p.m.
- Picasso at the Lapin Agile – August 21–22 & 27–29 at 7:30 p.m.; August 23 at 3 p.m.
- The Woman in Black – October 23–24 & 29–31 at 7:30 p.m.; October 25 at 3 p.m.
It was also announced that in-person CAST office hours are now held Thursdays from 5:00–6:00 p.m., with other times available by appointment. The best way to contact CAST is by emailing ClearfieldArts@gmail.com or calling (814) 765-4474.
