CLEARFIELD- The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre, Inc. (CAST) is thrilled to present The SpongeBob Musical, a fun-filled, family-friendly production that promises to make a splash this summer.
Performances will be held July 24, 25, 26, 31 and August 1, 2 at 7:30 p.m. at CAST, located at 112 E. Locust Street in downtown Clearfield.
Tickets are $17 and are on sale now at www.ClearfieldArts.org. They may also be purchased in person at the CAST office on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tickets will also be available at the box office 30 minutes before each performance—but seating is limited and shows may sell out, so advance purchase is strongly encouraged. Based on the beloved animated series, The SpongeBob Musical plunges audiences into the undersea world of Bikini Bottom, where chaos erupts as a volcano threatens the town. With lives hanging in the balance, an unexpected hero rises up—and proves that the power of optimism really can save the world.
This dynamic stage show is bursting with energy, heart, and humor. Featuring original music by a range of popular artists and packed with colorful characters, the show is a must-see for all ages.
The production is directed and choreographed by Brandi Billotte, with assistant direction by Julie Tobias, Brandy Hale, and Nate Horner. The music director is Jennifer Sproull, and additional choreography is provided by Josh Blaylock.
Before the show and during intermission, cast members will be offering fun, beach-themed swag for a donation to the CAST Scholarship Fund. At intermission, audience members can also enjoy popcorn, candy, and other refreshments. A nightly 50/50 drawing will also be held, with all proceeds benefiting the CAST Scholarship Fund.
