BROCKWAY, Pa. (EYT) – A 46-year-old Brockway woman faces attempted murder charges after allegedly firing multiple shots at her stepfather during a domestic dispute in Snyder Township on Tuesday.
Christina Michelle Bundy was arraigned Wednesday evening before Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana on multiple charges, including criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois responded to a residence along Route 28 in Snyder Township around 12:26 p.m. on June 4 following reports of shots fired.
Police say Bundy allegedly became upset during an argument with her stepfather, accusing him of killing her parents and removing her from their will. The incident escalated when Bundy went to the basement, where she allegedly fired multiple rounds in the victim’s direction. The victim escaped the residence uninjured and contacted 9-1-1.
State Police established a perimeter around the residence, and Bundy surrendered at approximately 1:27 p.m. During a subsequent police interview, Bundy allegedly admitted to firing three to four rounds from a handgun toward the victim “in an attempt to scare him.”
During their investigation, police discovered damage to a storm door with broken glass, a hole in the wooden basement door, and a shell casing on the basement steps.
During her preliminary arraignment, Judge Inzana denied bail, citing the non-bailable nature of the offense. Bundy was remanded to Jefferson County Prison.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 12 at 1:00 p.m. before Judge Inzana.
