Clearfield, PA- Despite rainy weather, the turnout for the opening day of the Annual Clearfield Riverfront Festival was a huge success. Hundreds of people swarmed Lower Witmer Park on Friday, June 6 to enjoy tasty food and treats from food trucks and live music from hometown favorites, The Moore Brothers.

The Annual Clearfield Riverfront Festival, hosted by Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, kicks off Summer with their 3-day long event that draws thousands to the Clearfield area with food trucks, vendors, bands and even fireworks.
This year, the event will feature new activities for the family including: Arcade Axe Throwing, Bounce House Obstacle Course, Petting Zoo and a Magician.
Food trucks this year include: Steak on a Stick, Stromboli Land, Lemmo’s Wild Poppy Sweets, Dimmick’s Roadway Cafe, Tony’s Pizza, Kent’s Concessions, Larry’s Barbeque, Wittle Waffles, Wiser Fries, Schonwalder Place and Hilda’s Just Good Food.
On Friday evening, Passport Radio’s annual Car Cruise brought classic cars rumbling through downtown, turning the streets into a rolling showcase of automotive history.
The Moore Brothers lit up the stage with a high-energy set of classic rock and oldies that had something for everyone. Their familiar tunes echoed through the riverfront as voices from the crowd joined in, singing along to every chorus. From kids twirling in puddles to grandparents swaying to the beat, the music brought generations together on the dance lawn. With tight harmonies and infectious energy, the band delivered a performance that turned a rainy night into a community celebration. The band ended their set by playing a tribute to veterans and those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom by singing Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” as the crowd stood and hats were removed.

Following the amazing performance, the 2nd Annual Mullet Contest took place. Adults and kids, who have grown out their hair just for this event, stood in front of the large crowd who cheered as they showed off their mullets. Logan from Passport Radio, Jackie from Pop Radio and Brandy from Visit Clearfield County judged the contest.

There are a lot more fun events planned for this weekend. Below are the schedules for Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8.
