DuBOIS – 7 Brew, the drive-thru coffee concept revolutionizing the coffee industry, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday at 1255 E DuBois Ave in collaboration with the Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the grand opening of its newest Pennsylvania stand. Striving to be a good community partner, 7 Brew DuBois presented a check for $10,000 to Penn Highlands Pediatrics – DuBois.
“We are thrilled to introduce 7 Brew to DuBois and highlight 7 Brew’s quick speed, wide variety and contagious kindness to our neighbors,” said Matt Peters, director of development for 7 Brew DuBois. “We’re honored to partner with Penn Highlands Pediatrics – DuBois to celebrate this opening and continue connecting with the community.”
To kick off the opening celebrations, 7 Brew DuBois hosted a donation weekend on May 23-25, where customers could try 7 Brew and “pay what they want,” as a donation to Penn Highlands. Representatives from the hospital attended the ceremony to accept the donation.
“On behalf of Penn Highlands Healthcare, we want to thank 7 Brew for choosing Penn Highlands Pediatrics to benefit from their Caffeine for a Cause Fundraiser,” said Danyell Bundy, executive director, Penn Highlands Healthcare Fund Development. “We recognize that there are many worthy causes in the area and are truly honored to be selected. The generosity from this fundraiser will have such a huge impact on our pediatric patients. Thank you again and welcome to the community!”
7 Brew’s next step is to host a “Swag Day” on Saturday, June 7, from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., during which customers who purchase a large drink will get a free 7 Brew t-shirt.
