Clearfield- Work crews are in full force in preparation for the Clearfield County Fair.
Park Manager, Greg Hallstrom said that fair board members and construction crews are “all hands on deck” making updates and repairs to park facilities. The largest repair being the grandstand roof that sustained unexpected damage during a powerful windstorm in March.
Ben Timko, owner of 768-ROOF – G.C., said that the structure, as a whole, is in pretty good shape and crews are moving along quickly and hope to finish the project next week, weather permitting.
The roof was completely stripped of the existing membrane and a list of repairs including new plywood with underlayment, new Owens Corning shingles on pitched area of the roof with a 3″ steel drip edge, new aluminum fascia on the Expo 1 side of the building and new 6” commercial gutters. The top of Roof is receiving a new Duro Last PVC membrane roof with new metal trim.
The Clearfield Fair & Park Board thanks all the local companies involved: 768-ROOF – G.C. / Roofing Contractor, Hugill Roll Offs, THP Potties, Ken’s Crane Service, GM Equipment, Lanzoni Seamless Gutters, Lezzer Lumber, ABC Supply and Duro Last Roofing.
