Huston Twp. — Three people died Monday night in a head-on collision on Route 255 in Clearfield County, according to Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder.
The deceased were identified as Cayden Wiseman, 20, of DuBois; Dominic Moore, 20, of DuBois; and Seth Neubert, 37, of St. Marys. All three died of blunt force trauma at the scene, according to Shaffer-Snyder.
The crash occurred around 9:23 p.m. on Monday, May 26.
Shaffer-Snyder reported that Wiseman was driving south on Route 255 and attempted to pass another vehicle at a high rate of speed. His vehicle then struck Neubert’s northbound vehicle head-on. Moore was a passenger in Wiseman’s vehicle.
The accident led to the closure of Route 255 at Mountain Run Road and at the intersection of Route 255 and Route 153.
Responding agencies included the Penfield Volunteer Fire Department, Sandy Township Fire Department, Oklahoma Fire Company, North Point Volunteer Fire Company, Jay Township Volunteer Fire Company, Amserv LTD DuBois Community Ambulance, and Pennsylvania State Police.
