Local families who have a child with special medical needs not covered by existing insurance or other funding are reminded the Masonic Noble Lodge No. 480 Curwensville, Osceola Masonic Lodge 515 and Coalport Masonic Lodge 574 along with the Clearfield County Charitable Foundation are accepting applications until June 30th for funding from the PB Zentmyer Fund.
This grant funding opportunity is for local Clearfield County children who have immediate or ongoing medical expenses not covered by health insurance or other funding sources. Applications for consideration by the selection committee can be filed online at the Clearfield County Charitable Foundation website, www.clearfieldcharitablefoundation.org, and must be completed by June 30. Parents and guardians should be aware the grant award will only be paid to the medical services provider or vendor providing specialized equipment necessary for their child’s treatment and cannot be paid directly to the family. Review and determination of grant awards will be completed by September 30.
