CLEARFIELD – A DuBois woman will spend up to 18 years in state prison for selling Fentanyl to an undercover agent.
Alicia Sidelinger, 35, pleaded guilty in seven cases to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of communication facility and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia during colloquy court on Monday.
In an eighth case she pleaded guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and in two additional cases to misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Judge Paul E. Cherry sentenced her to serve six to 18 years in state prison.
Prior to sentencing Cherry told her “today’s your lucky day” because she could have gotten a much longer sentence. He suggested she consider her life choices.
The criminal complaints detail how the agent contacted Sidelinger and purchased Fentanyl from her on March 19, 2024, March 21, 2024, March 23, 2024, April 14, 2024, April 18, 2024, May 16, 2024, Aug. 21, and Aug. 28.
The purchases began with the use of a confidential informant but the agent actually did the buying. Initially, these purchases occurred at a parking lot on South Jared Street in DuBois with the meetings eventually moving to outside her residence.
The amount purchased grew larger, up to a brick of Fentanyl that was sometimes packaged with 50% heroin.
During these encounters, Sidelinger made numerous remarks about how she could get other drugs; when her dealers were making deliveries; trips she was making to get drugs; when best to contact her to get more drugs and the specifics of her packaging, all of which indicated an ongoing drug business, according to the affidavits.
