To the Citizens of Clearfield County:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to endorse District Attorney Ryan P. Sayers for Judge on the Court of Common Pleas of Clearfield County. I have had the privilege of knowing Ryan both professionally and personally for many years, and I can say without hesitation that his intelligence, passion, and integrity make him an exceptional candidate for this critical role.

As District Attorney, Ryan has demonstrated unparalleled leadership and an unshakable commitment to the rule of law. During my tenure as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2021, a position to which I was appointed by President Donald J. Trump, I had the honor of working closely with Ryan on several significant cases that targeted and disrupted major drug trafficking organizations impacting Clearfield County.

These victories were driven by Ryan’s vision, strategic leadership, and dedication to justice. His ability to lead complex investigations, inspire collaboration among local, state and federal law enforcement, and uphold the highest standards of fairness allowed him to lead with distinction as he kept the people of Clearfield County safe from cartel-sourced drug trafficking and violent criminals.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ryan is a trusted friend and a respected leader among District Attorneys in the Western District of Pennsylvania. His reputation for principled decision-making and ethical conduct is well-known throughout the region. His innovative Law Enforcement Treatment Initiative is a model for effective diversion programs for people suffering from addiction.

Additionally, Ryan is deeply active in his community, serving as a leader in civic and charitable organizations throughout Clearfield County, where his efforts have made a lasting impact. He possesses a rare combination of legal acumen, compassion, and resolve that ensures justice is served while maintaining the dignity of all involved.

I enthusiastically endorse Ryan Sayers for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Clearfield County. I can think of no better person to serve in this capacity—someone who will bring wisdom, integrity, and a deep commitment to the law to the bench. Clearfield County will be fortunate to have him as a Judge, and I am confident he will serve with distinction.

Sincerely,

Scott W. Brady
Former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, 2017–2021
