Sandy Twp.- The Supervisors discussed following the City of DuBois and holding a single unified meeting a month.

This would work by having a single agenda that included all the items for the Joint Board, Sandy Township, and the City of DuBois.  Whether the item was a consolidation, City, or Township line item would determine who needed to vote on it.

If this change occurs it won’t be until after the primaries due to the mandatory advertising that would need to occur beforehand.

Interim Co-manager Ben Kafferlin answered some questions on the lack of moving meetings to the Penn State DuBois auditorium.

Kafferlin explained that Penn State hasn’t signed an agreement for a regular set of meetings, but did give the go ahead for April.

Supervisor Mark Sullivan expressed that keeping the current meeting locations was better than holding them at Penn State for potentially a single month.
