HOUTZDALE, PA- The Moshannon Valley Junior Senior High School Drama Club is proud to present The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, a thrilling and heartwarming adventure based on Rick Riordan’s beloved book series.

The show will run for three performances: March 21 and 22 at 7:00 p.m. and March 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.

With a cast of 33 talented students working tirelessly to bring this exciting musical to life The Lightning Thief tells the story of Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers he is the son of the Greek god, Poseidon. As Percy embarks on a quest to prevent a war among the gods, he encounters incredible challenges, friends, and enemies—while learning about his true self and abilities.

Washic continues, “The cast is nothing short of amazing, with a lot of returning faces but also a lot of new additions to our program! Their energy and dedication make this performance something truly special, and we can’t wait to share it with the community!”

Tickets are available for purchase at the door. $10 for adults and $5 for students.

Come out for an evening of music, magic, and adventure—support local talent, and witness the hard work of 33 dedicated students who have put in countless hours to bring this production to life.
